Brinner

Him - "Hey Mom, did you know that some people eat pancakes for breakfast instead of dinner?"

Me - "No way!"

Him - "Yeah. Wouldn't that be great? Could we have pancakes for breakfast tomorrow?"

Me - "I don't think we have time to make pancakes for breakfast and get to school on time. Pancakes take a while." ( . . . longer than cereal)

Him - "oh. Well could you wake up at 5:00 to make me pancakes?"

Me - "AAHA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!! No."

Seriously, he has lived here six years and can ask me that question with a straight face?

And now you know more than I like to admit about our eating habits, or rather my lack of dinner planning skills.

I did tell him we could make pancakes for breakfast over the weekend, but considering that we had French toast one night and pancakes another night this week, it probably isn't going to happen soon. I can only wash so much syrup out of the baby's hair.

hahahaha I love the conversations you have sometimes with them.

I think our kids were about the same age when they realized pancakes were breakfast food. It was so much easier to fix them for dinner.

All you have to do Linz is make more and freeze the extras. Just pop them in the toaster in the morning, it's just as fast as cereal. It would probably work with french toast too.
